Home remedies to relieve headaches

Some days, when you open your eyes in the morning, you realize that you have a headache. Suddenly, during work, you don't feel like opening your eyes. Many times, when you are bothered by a persistent headache, you hear - if you have a head, it will hurt! This extremely unbearable headache can be due to lack of sleep, anxiety, dehydration or eye fatigue. Some of the following home remedies are quite effective to reduce mild headaches -

Drink water

Dehydration is a common cause of headaches. So, if you have a simple headache, first drink 1-2 glasses of water. It is important to drink enough water during the day. Drinking 10 glasses of water a day prevents dehydration and headaches can be avoided.

Ginger tea or water

Ginger reduces inflammation and increases blood circulation. If you feel a headache, boil a teaspoon of crushed ginger in a cup of water for 5 minutes and drink it as a tea. Or, if you are not in the habit of drinking tea, you can just drink lukewarm water with ginger.

Lemon water is very effective.

Headaches can also be caused by excess gas or digestive problems. Drink a glass of lukewarm water with the juice of half a lemon and a pinch of salt. You can drink lemon juice with a little chopped green chili and a little warm water as medicine. You can also get relief by lightly massaging mint oil on the forehead and ears.

You can take it cold or hot.

First, you need to find out if you can identify the cause of your headache. If the headache is due to tension, placing a cold cloth on your forehead or neck can help reduce it. If you have sinus or muscle tension, you can use a hot towel. Get

regular rest and sleep.

Closing your eyes for a short time and resting in a dark, quiet room can help reduce headaches. Headaches can start when you sleep less or work harder. So, give your eyes a rest every now and then. Eating an apple on an empty stomach or mixing a little apple cider vinegar in water before closing your eyes can help in some cases.

Yoga may be the solution

If your headache is caused by eye strain, stress, or lack of sleep, yoga is very effective. Headaches are usually caused by various types of stress or tension, lack of sleep, eye strain (too much screen time), dehydration (not drinking enough water), muscle tension, neck or back pressure, hormonal imbalances. Yoga meditation and breathing calm the mind, reduce cortisol (stress hormone). Yoga keeps blood flow to the head, which reduces pressure. Yoga helps balance hormones, especially thyroid or stress-related problems.

Be very careful

If the headache is regular, excessively severe, or accompanied by blurred vision, dizziness, or nausea, you should definitely seek medical advice.
