The computer keeps beeping after turning it on

Problems category : Hardware

Reasons :

1. If the number of beeps is one, it means the computer is not getting display output. Or it could be that the keyboard is not properly connected to the motherboard.

2. If one big beep is followed by two small beeps, it means your motherboard is not receiving RAM.

3. If one big beep is followed by three small beeps, then you will definitely know that there is a problem with the display or graphics output.

4. If there is one big beep followed by four small beeps, it means that your motherboard or some important hardware is damaged or not working properly.

Solutions:

1. Try changing the RAM or changing the slot.

2. Look at the monitor. Is it in sleep mode? That is, check whether its LED light is on or off. If it is not, that is, the LED light is on and something is visible on the monitor, then your motherboard and graphics card are fine.

3. If it is not possible to turn on the power, then open the casing. There is definitely a problem with your power supply.

4. Now suppose the motherboard's power LED is on but the PC is not responding even when you press the power button on the casing, then it should be understood that there is a problem with the casing's power supply, which is not able to output sufficient voltage. In this case, if possible, try using another power supply.

5. The problem is with the power switch. Experienced users can, if possible, refer to the motherboard manual, remove the two power button pins on the motherboard, and somehow contact them to see if it works.
