10 ways to escape the unbearable heat in the kitchen

It's extremely hot, and on top of that, the heat from the stove. Those who have to cook regularly have to suffer even more from the heat. There's no way to stay healthy without cooking for too long. If you want to stay healthy, it's very important to keep the kitchen as cool as possible during this intense heat. Here are some tips.

  1. Change your cooking time. Enter the kitchen early in the morning and finish cooking before noon. This will allow you to rest in your room during the intense heat. 
  2. Instead of cooking two or three meals a day, finish cooking all at once. 
  3. Follow quick-cooking recipes and finish cooking in a short time.
  4. Instead of cooking meals twice or three times a day, finish cooking them all at once.
  5. You can choose items that can be eaten without cooking at any time of the day. Eat fruits, salads, and light, boiled foods. These foods will be digested quickly in this heat, and you will also be relieved from the discomfort of being in the kitchen for a long time. 
  6. Use a pressure cooker to cook food. This will help you cook faster.
  7. Wear loose, thin clothing while cooking. 
  8. Chopping vegetables, preparing spice mixes, and other such tasks before cooking can take up a lot of time and energy. So, you can set aside some time and prepare these in advance. Tasks like chopping onions at once or chopping multiple vegetables at once will save you a lot of time. 
  9. Be sure to use an exhaust fan in the kitchen. Keep the kitchen window open while cooking.  
  10. You sweat a lot while cooking. So, be sure to stay hydrated. To maintain electrolyte balance, mix a pinch of salt and 2 tablespoons of lemon juice in every 500 ml of water and drink it.
