Usually, the kitchen or dining room is the most affected by ants. Whenever you put any sweet food, the ants come in groups. If you want to get rid of the ants, you should always keep your house clean. If the ants still do not go away, you can take help of home remedies. Find out in which ways you can get rid of ants.

1. Mix some lemon juice with vinegar. Now spread this lemon juice mixed vinegar in the areas of your house where ants are most common. The ants will go away.
2. Sprinkle cinnamon powder. You can also draw long lines with cinnamon powder. This will prevent ants from crossing the line and going to the other side. Instead of cinnamon powder, you can also use whole cinnamon to keep ants away. Place whole cinnamon around the ant nest. The ants will not come.
3. Mix sugar with boric acid. Sprinkle it on the ant colony. You will easily get rid of the ant infestation.
4. Mix glass cleaner and liquid detergent together in a spray bottle and shake. Spray it in areas where ants are frequent. You can also spray it on ant nests. Wipe the area after a while. The ants will go away.
5. Sprinkle salt in front of the ant nest. The ant infestation will decrease.  
6. Mix bay leaves, cloves, mint and camphor together. Now grind it into powder and spread it on the paths where ants come and go. The ants will disappear.
7. Mix 1 tablespoon of salt and chili powder in a cup of hot water. While the water is hot, sprinkle it wherever the ants are. The ants will go away immediately.
8. Mix equal parts water and white vinegar in a spray bottle. Use this solution to clean your kitchen. Ants and bugs will not come.
9. Mix 2 cups of water and 20 drops of peppermint essential oil in a spray bottle, shake well, and spray the solution on windows, tables, and areas where ants are most likely to visit. Let it air dry naturally.
10. Mix equal amounts of baking soda and powdered sugar in a bowl. Sprinkle it around the ant nest. The ants will go away.
